Joint Powers Board, Caltrain San Bruno Grade Separation
Project Description: The San Bruno Grade Separation Project elevates the Caltrain tracks above three existing at-grade street crossings at San Bruno, San Mateo and Angus avenues. This will improve safety for both motorists and pedestrians, and it will reduce traffic congestion to and from Highway 101 in the City of San Bruno.

Joint Powers Board, 25th Avenue Grade Separation
Project Description: Caltrain, in cooperation with the City of San Mateo, will raise the tracks and slightly lower the road (grade separate) at E. 25th Avenue in San Mateo. This will improve safety for both motorists and pedestrians, and it will reduce local traffic congestion in San Mateo. In addition to separating the tracks and road at E. 25th Avenue, the project will provide an opportunity to complete east-west street connections at 28th and 31st Avenues in conformance with the Bay Meadows Transit Oriented Development Plan. As part of the project improvements, Caltrain will build a new elevated Hillsdale Station located at E. 28th Avenue. The new station will offer updated amenities and will allow for better safety and reduced traffic.).

Joint Powers Board, South San Francisco Station Improvement
Project Description: Caltrain, in coordination with the City of South San Francisco, is preparing to replace the existing South San Francisco Station with a new center boarding platform connecting to a pedestrian underpass. The project consists of track work, signal work, a new 700 foot center board platform with amenities and connectivity to a new pedestrian underpass from the platform to Grand Avenue/Industrial Way. The project improves safety by eliminating the hold out rule and will provide increased connectivity along Grand Avenue for the City of South San Francisco. The improvements will also make the station fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

High Speed Rail Construction
Project Description: Construction Package 1 (CP 1) is the first significant construction contract executed on the Initial Operating Section of the high-speed rail program. The CP1 construction area is a 32-mile stretch between Avenue 19 in Madera County to East American Avenue in Fresno County. It includes 12 grade separations, 2 viaducts, 1 tunnel and a major river crossing over the San Joaquin River

RTD – Denver Eagle P3 Light Rail Transit Project
Project Description: This Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Maintenance Project consists of 33 miles of Commuter Rail connecting Downtown Denver Union Station to the Denver International Airport on the East Line and to the vicinity of Ward Road, passing through northwest Denver, unincorporated Adams County, Arvada and Wheat Ridge. This project also includes a Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility with a capacity to store and service 100 vehicles.

Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) Project
Project Description: SMART Project utilizes over 70 miles of the former Northwestern Pacific Railroad alignment to provide passenger rail service and a recreational multi-use pathway from the ferry terminal in Larkspur, Marin County, to Cloverdale in Sonoma County.

Transbay Terminal Program II
Project Description: The Transbay Transit Center Program consists of providing a central downtown bus and rail station that will connect the San Francisco Bay Area and the State through eight different transit systems. The project also includes the extension of the Caltrain and future high speed rail lines from the current endpoint at 4th and Townsend Streets to the new downtown terminal.
